Learn a Native skill and make and take home your own beautiful harvest/gathering basket with a loose weave bottom.
OUR GUIDE:
Mary’s grandmother, also Mary, taught her how to make baskets as a child. Raised in the lower Adirondacks, Mary resides in Canandaigua and has enjoyed many experiences in her full life. In addition to her large family, her true love is art. Mary’s career has included being a professional illustrator, calligrapher and art teacher. Also blessed with a beautiful voice, she is honored to sing at weddings and funerals. Mary's humor and gentle way add joy to the expertise she will be sharing with us.

SUPPLIES: All basket weaving supplies will be provided. You will be asked to bring a few common household tools with you and bring your own lunch! More details upon registration.
