WELCOME TO SHIMMERING LIGHT!
~where Soil meets Soul~
Now, more than ever, we need to remember our interdependence with all other Beings to co-create a world of liberation, regeneration and beauty for All.
Shimmering Light is a community supported farm and education center in South Bristol, NY dedicated to inspiring more conscious and regenerative ways of life.
Through our community garden, retreats, workshops and collaborative learning experiences, Shimmering Light cultivates connection and reciprocity with the Earth, each other and our own true nature.
JOIN US at the farm and take a break, relax...discover that nature provides the support and answers you are seeking to your own challenges, and the challenges of our world.
The End of the Farm as we know it...
The Environmental Access Fund provides equitable participation for anyone who is experiencing financial hardship OR those who identify as Black, Indigenous, Asian, Latinx or have been otherwise racialized. 65% of our program participants need the fund to be able to experience nature connection at the farm!

Land Acknowledgement and Social Equity
We gratefully acknowledge that modern American agriculture, herbalism and nature connection practices rest squarely on the shoulders of many generations of black and brown people whose lands, labor, culture, knowledge and wisdom were taken by force. Our farm is located on the unceded home land of the of the Seneca (Onöndowa’ga:’, The People of the Great Hill), one of the six nations of the Haudenosaunee (Hodínöhšö:ni:h, or People of the Longhouse) Confederacy. Over 8,000 Seneca people still live and work and recreate in Western, NY and many are still engaged in sharing their wisdom in how to live in greater harmony with the rest of the natural world.
